We are a church that believes in Jesus, a church that loves God and people. Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, and are on a mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth.
 

      When you think of First Baptist Church, Center, Texas, think of a Christian             fellowship of warm, caring, friendly people. We are more than a church.  

         We are a family.              

Our mission is the Great Commission.  

We are committed as a church to a three-fold priority:

To exalt the Savior

To equip the saved

To evangelize the lost.

In everything we do, we exist for that purpose. We hope to reach people for Christ and help them achieve their fullest potential in Christ Jesus.

We are a multi-generational collection of surrendered people who are being transformed

by loving God and serving others.

We are gathered together and committed to the idea that this is not about us,

but all about Jesus.

We are growing because of His heart and His plan for our lives. 

We are grace-givers, risk-takers and dreamers; young and old. 

We are giving our time, talent and treasure to make Jesus known

to introduce Him to others. 

We seek the lost, strengthen the weak, empower those who minister

and embrace the outcast. 

We Worship together, Grow together, Serve together, Play together

and Live Life together. 

We desire to be an Impact Church where lives are changed! 

We are: Glorifying, Gathering, Growing, Giving, and Going! 

We believe that small things done with God’s love
