The Center Learning Academy (CLA) is a State of Texas licensed day care facility conveniently located at First Baptist Church, Center, off the square. This modern facility provides day care for children ages six weeks to 12 years of age. We provide transportation from Center Schools – F.L. Moffett, Center Elementary and Intermediate to the childcare facility. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  Our program utilizes a program created curriculum that includes age appropriate activities and Bible stories and songs. CLA provides exceptional childcare for both infant/toddler/preschool care as well as after school day care for older children.

     The teachers at Center Learning Academy are dedicated to giving your child unconditional love in a Christ-centered environment.  They provide a rich and enjoyable day care atmosphere in which children may flourish socially, emotionally, developmentally, and spiritually.

     Since God’s love extends equally to all people, our day care center welcomes and encourages any of His children, regardless of race, color, or nationality to apply for enrollment in any program it offers. The Center Learning Academy does not discriminate based on race, color, handicapping condition, or nationality.

Admission to CLA

     Enrollment is on-going and granted based upon availability and payment of the non-refundable $50 registration fee.  The registration fee must be paid and registration packet must be completed before a class assignment can be made. Please email cla@fbccenter.org for additional information.  We do offer a waiting list for children we are unable to accommodate at the time of inquiry. A waiting list is provided for those who wish to pay the $50 deposit in order to hold a slot when one becomes available. We currently accept cash, checks or credit cards for all tuition fees. When a space becomes available, the family will need to fill out the forms in the registration packet, pay the first week’s tuition, and provide a current set of immunization records.       Please feel free to contact the CLA to set up a tour. We can give tours most weekdays from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Appointments are not required but appreciated. 

What You Provide:

Depending on your child's age, we ask that you provide the following:

• all infant food-breast milk or formula
• baby food and cereal, depending on development
• all bottles
• pacifiers
• diapers or pull-ups
• wipes
• a change of clothing
• a drinking cup with a lid
• a folding nap mat
• anything personal that you would like for your child like a comfort item
• breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack
